Daniel Boakye, a Chief Executive Officer(CEO) of Globnet Financial
Services (GFS); is a Development Economist with over 23 years’ experience
in mobilizing development finance, evaluation of investment projects and
policy advice on public financial management, including public–private
partnerships. As a former employee of the World Bank, he played a lead role
in mobilizing development finance for both Governments and the private
sector in Ghana, Liberia, Cote D’Ivoire, Togo and Benin. He is currently
consulting for the World Bank, with a focus on conducting financial and economic evaluation of
investment projects. Daniel holds an MPA degree from Harvard University, MA in Economic Policy
Management and a BA in Economics and French, both from the University of Ghana.
Daniel has a diverse background and experience in academia, private sector, international
development, and community work. As a Lecturer at Ghana Institute of Management and Public
Administration (GIMPA), he was responsible for teaching “Strategic Planning” and “Economic
Development”. He also conducted training programs for SMEs in the areas of Business Planning,
Financial Management and Customer Service. Before then, Daniel was an Investment Analyst at IFC,
where he focused on valuation of companies and their suitability for IFC loans. He is currently the
finance committee chair for a number of community projects. He has also contributed to several
reports, publications, and projects that aim at finding solutions to the development challenges facing
Africa. In addition, he has collaborated with government representatives, business leaders, other
economists, experts, and stakeholders from different regions and sectors, through workshops,
seminars, and conferences.

Raphael Kwaku Owusu-Agyemang (LLB), a Senior Legal Advisor to Globnet Financial Services
(GFS); was called to the Ghana Bar in 2012 and joined K-Archy & Company, a
reputable law firm, in the same year. He has risen through the ranks of the
firm, to the position of Managing Partner, providing exceptional technical and
administrative leadership of the firm. Raphael leads the litigation and
corporate departments of the firm. He has gained repute because of the
success chalked over the years in landmark cases up to the Supreme Court. As
a leader of the firm’s corporate department, he provides cutting-edge legal
advisory solutions to a myriad of legal issues to about twenty-two corporate
(private and public) institutions.
Raphael’s core practice areas include constitutional and administrative law and corporate and
commercial law, with particular skills in corporate finance, international trade and investments and

Dr. Chris Sokpor, a Managing Partner of Globnet Financial Services
(GFS); is a Qualified Chartered Accountant with over 20 years of experience
in Taxation, Finance, Accounting, Audit, and Business Advisory. He is also
Senior Partner of Deon & Noed International (DNI) – an independent firm in
Advisory, Tax and Audit with presence in Ghana, Nigeria, Liberia, Sierra
Leone, Togo & London (UK). He was an adjunct Senior Lecturer at the
Liberian Institute of Certified Public Accountants (LICPA), Masters Programs
at the University of Liberia and the Liberia Financial Management Training
Program – sponsored by the World Bank. Currently, he is an adjunct Lecturer in Taxation at the Master’s
Program at the University of Professional Studies, Accra and the Laweh Open University. Chris holds a
PhD in Accounting from Capella University in Minnesota, USA, MBA (Finance) from Central University
College, LLB from University of London and BA Economics from the University of Cape Coast.
Dr. Sokpor is a member of the following professional bodies: Institute of Chartered Accountant Ghana
(ICAG), Institute of Chartered Accountant Sierra Leone (ICASL),Chartered Economic Policy Analyst

Timothy Odoi Adotey (Esq); a Senior Legal Consultant for Globnet
Financial Services (GFS), has extensive experience in legal practice and his
expertise spans through construction, corporate and commercial law.
Timothy holds an LLB from the University of Ghana and a Qualifying
Certificate in Law/Barrister-at-Law from the Ghana School of Law. He has
several certificates in Construction Law and the FIDIC Suite of Contracts for
Construction. Prior to that, he had worked in the public sector for eight years
as a policy analyst and Special Assistant to a Minister of State, garnering an
in-depth knowledge of the politics of policy formulation and
implementation. He has significant corporate and transactional experience
with the multi-national company: CONTRACTA Group of Companies. He was responsible for advising,
drafting, and negotiating various transaction documents such as multi-million-dollar commercial
construction contracts with the Government of Ghana, financing and securitization documents with
International Financial Institutions such as Deutsche Bank (DB), HSBC, Standard Chartered Bank, and
Barclay’s Bank; and Export Credit Agencies such as the United Kingdom Export Finance (UKEF), and the
Italian SACE Group(SACE). He has also advised on regulatory and compliance obligations.
Timothy served on key committees of the Republic of Ghana, including the team, which drafted a new
National Health Policy that was a paradigm shift from curative health to preventive health care and
was a member of the steering committee responsible for communications on the flagship program
of the Ministry of Health i.e. the Regenerative Health & Nutrition Program (RHNP). He was a Teaching
Assistant for Commercial Law and Business Law at the University of Ghana Business School (UGBS).
